Easter!!

Good morning to you!

And you!  BEST bed head ever!!  I feel like I have said that before, but really, this take first place!  I was feeding Lillian and Jacob brought Iz in and I just got the biggest grin, couldn't even hide it!

So fun to watch Iz see what the Easter bunny brought her!

We had such a fun day, Izzy girl was so tired!  Holidays are just so much fun with little ones, really brings back the meaning and what they are all about.. we loved being the Easter bunny and watching Isabelle's excitement over the littlest things.. pure joy.

Fun day before Easter!!

We went to the Easter hunt at the Country Club Saturday morning.. Izzy girl and Harper ready for it to start!

 There is something about watching Iz do an Easter egg hunt that just makes me smile.. how happy and excited she gets to find something and put it in her basket.. I love it.

 I did catch some on video so you can enjoy it too!

:: Easter Party ::

Izzy girl, going to be such a great mom some day {that's so crazy to think about! {her being all grown up, not the mom part}}.. wrapped her baby all up and rocking her to sleep.

I made this Oreo bark for the Easter party also.. added the egg Whoppers to the top to be more festive.  It's so simple..

Melt 12 oz milk chocolate and 6 oz white chocolate in separate bowls, then stir in about 12 crushed Oreos {6 in each bowl} until coated and pour a little of each chocolate out onto wax paper, alternating colors for the swirl look and spreading fairly evenly.. you just don't want it to be super thick because it makes it harder to break.

We had an Easter party the week before Easter and Isabelle was so excited to go.. I think mainly because she knew there were going to be kids there!

It took her a minute to get the hang of the whole hunt thing, she was picking the eggs up, shaking them and putting them back down.. we fixed that pretty quick!

She got smart, leave the basket and you can run and carry more eggs.

My little burrito!  I love a lot of things about this picture, one, she is propped on the pillow, two, totally wrapped up straight jacket style and three, that face.. I mean, it's like squished up and her little nose is pointing straight up, I just love it.

This is a pretty delicious smoothie aka 'juice' that Iz and I have been making.. it consists of:

1 kiwi

1 orange or Cutie, whatever you have

handful of frozen strawberries and mixed berries

4 large frozen cherries

1/2 banana

handful of spinach

1 scoop vanilla protein powder {love Juice Plus+ Complete!}

about 16oz water

*Blend and drink!

Isabelle is so big these days.. wants to carry her car seat just like mommy..

I have posted this recipe for candy bar blondies before but didn't think I got a picture of the dough and just thought it looked pretty yummy so wanted to share... made them for an Easter party so I could get rid of some candy.

Sleepy girl.. I think I have said this before, but I just love how she sleeps with her hand up by her face.. look at those cheeks!
