We drove to Salina Wednesday for the wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. Jacob and Iz got there in the morning so they had lunch at Freddy's with the fam and I had the pleasure of receiving this awesome picture of Iz from dad.. I mean, is that not the best picture (we love bed head!)?! She even got a free ice cream because her grilled cheese took awhile. Ashley, Byron and I headed there that afternoon.
Izzy girl enjoying her grahams.. yes, she has 4 in her hands! She just loves to hold all of them and take bites whenever she's ready.
add some nanner in there..
Gigi was kind enough to let Iz go crazy with her pots and pans, she had so much fun taking them all out and putting them back in the drawer... it was kind of funny because she wouldn't just throw the lids down, she would set them down, such a lady ;).
I got a new fabulous camera for my birthday and was practicing with it over the Holiday, so you will have to bear with me on this post, there are a lot of pics!
I love both of these (yes, those are boston terriers on her pjs.. thanks Laura!).
Turkey Day!!
Isabelle enjoyed some turkey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, rolls and pumpkin gooey cake... just little bites of each, as she didn't seem to want to eat very much. I was expecting her to go all out, make a mess, but she just wasn't that into it, which was kind of a bummer to me, but made sense later when we realized she was a little sicky and probably didn't feel that well.
Lunch was at the farm because there were about 20 of us... wish I would have gotten a picture of everyone around the table. We did all go around the table before we ate and said we were thankful for, which I really liked.. it was nice to add a little sentiment to the special day. I said I was thankful for Isabelle, Jacob, my family/friends, and that we were all together, especially that my gram and mom were there.. it was good to think about the important things in life.
little Paisley was sound asleep..
{this is me and my camera}
I just love this picture of Gram, Iz and Emme walking together.
Izzy girl got to ride the 4 wheeler with Gigi and dad and she absolutely loved it! She was so excited on it and didn't want to get off...
Cooper looking like a stud.
love them..
Dad had to put on a helmet because he was driving way too fast and Iz could not figure it out.
Harper..
Iz was taking the biggest steps because she didn't want the grass on her feet, it was pretty funny.
love these of Iz with GG (great gram)..
precious.
We tried to get a picture of all the grandkids and it was quite the ordeal, at one point, Paisley and Iz were both upset and everyone was trying to get all of their attention so we could get one good pic. This is pre-upset with the little littles.
This is post, hence Iz with the glo seahorse.. if only Harper was looking in my direction ;)
family photo.
Four generations... and Iz needed her nap!
We could not have asked for a more beautiful day, it was wonderful, pretty windy, but perfect for being out at the farm. I just love Turkey day, you get to eat so many delicious things that you only eat once a year, spend quality time with your family and just think about all the wonderful things you are thankful for. Hope you all had great Turkey Days too!
