:: The rest of November until Turkey Day ::

This little loves her Lucy dog.. she got up from her nap and went straight to Lucy to tell her hi and give her some love pats.. makes me smile.
We had a fun ornament painting party before Christmas and Lillian was so excited that she got to paint!
Lillian had some days of being stubborn and not napping and one of the days, she gave up and passed out on me.. it was kind of a bummer because I didn't get anything done, but also so nice to have her just sleep on me and snuggle.. just like when she was a little babe.  Look at that sweet face..
Goof balls..
Lillian's hair was so long and mullet-y, I had to trim the back.. couldn't believe how long it actually was!
This was some yummy potato corn chowder I made in the crock pot, super easy and delicious!
Had to give our sweet dogs some love..
These two make me laugh.. they found this stage and couldn't resist putting on a show of singing and dancing.. I wish the video would work to upload!
The girls got creative with this sheet.. Isabelle was pulling Lillian around the house, entertained them for awhile.. and then Iz wanted Lillian to pull her and I'm sure you can guess how that turned out.
Lillian loves to get in my drawers and play with everything.. especially my headbands!  I think she has at least 3 on here..
Love walking into the play room to see them playing so well together.
Lillian and I drove to KC and it was so nice that she actually fell asleep (rare unfortunately)!
She loves her sunnies as much as Isabelle did!
And putting on Sue Sue's glasses (also like Izzy).
Lillian likes to see how much she can fit in her arms.. she walked in the kitchen and said she was ready to go.. 2 bags and all!
It was a nice day for a walk.. who knew it was end of November!
More headbands!  And putting her socks on by herself, she likes to do things on her own.. "no mommy, I do it", is her famous line.
Izzy looking so big and grown up here :(.. she does so well at putting her outfits together in the morning, I rarely help her get ready anymore.. kind of sad, but also nice.. bittersweet for sure.
Lill napping with piles of animals and blankets on her.. she loves to have too many things in her bed! I should probably regulate that better so she doesn't play as much at the beginning of nap time, but it's hard to resist :/.

Our growing fam!!

I don't think this is new news for anyone that follows our blog, but still wanted to document it for our third babe's sake ;).  I took this picture in early October, so the pumpkins were appropriate at the time, I just never posted it.  Izzy was excited to help pick out the pumpkins for our little family.
I haven't done well with taking pictures of my bump, but here it is around 12 weeks.. taken on October 15th.  I felt like I was showing so early, I think that's what happens with #3!  I wasn't sick in the beginning, just the usual, foods not sounding good and some smells made me nauseous, but that was about it.  I craved cheese dip and these potatoes that are from a BBQ joint in town (random, I know, but they come with the best sauce!).
Heart beat at our check up on 11/03 was 164.
Yep, was spilling stuff on my belly early on.
This is our little babe on 12/05/14!  We decided not to find out on this one, if it's a boy or girl and we made it through the sonogram without caving!  I don't know if we would've been able to tell anyway because baby was curling into the placenta and showing us a lot of spine/back.  We didn't get a full frontal shot at all, and this was the best profile.. baby was opening and closing his/her mouth.  It's hard to read the print under the picture, so the next one is a foot.. so fun and amazing to see!  Even after having two children, it amazes me how we can grow little humans in our bellies, like, seriously in awe while watching the sonogram.
The heart beat was 156.
I need to take another belly shot because it has definitely popped within the last few weeks!  I will try my best to keep you all updated on our progress.  OH I should tell you that Isabelle is convinced it's her baby brother, she has been saying that since day 1.. I asked her what she would do if it's a baby sister and she said, "mom, we don't need another baby sister!  Silly!".. I guess we shall see!

A few boy name ideas from Iz:
Freddy's (she loves that place)
Sonic (loves that place too)
Jake (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates)
Pablo (from the new Dora)
..see the pattern here.. I will keep you posted on those too because they are pretty funny!

Girls weekend!

I had a super fun girls weekend in Nebraska to visit one of my best friends and see her new casa.  Sally and I met in Topeka and road tripped it to Omaha early Friday morning.  Daddy was home with the girls until they went to KC, so he sent me this pic of keeping them entertained while he packed :).
They got to stop by and see their cousins Paisley and Penelope!
We arrived at Abbey's around noon and with Sally and I both being 'with child', we were starving!  So we ate lunch at this delicious little place close to Abbey's house and the most important thing was our dessert- check out these little cinnamon sugar donuts!  They were warm, like fritters and your dipped them in that salted caramel sauce, I mean, so delicious!  The city of Salina really doesn't have much in the way of good food, so when I travel, I'm really all about where we are going to eat!  As you will notice in this post, it's a lot of food pics!
My wonderful friend picked a vegan restaurant for our dinner spot Friday night, it was for my birthday too, but it was an awesome surprise, I was so excited!  It was delicious {to me, that is.. my friend Sal was not so hot on all of it, but I'm going to blame it on her pregnancy/upset tummy stuff ;)}!

We had a delicious tamale appetizer..
and some yummy 'mac & shows', it was their version of mac & cheese, made with cashews, pecan crusted tofu and kale, so good!  The beet burger was also great!
We had a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and it was also delicious.. so fun to eat places where you know your food is made from scratch with local or legit ingredients.
The restaurant is called Modern Love (click on the link if you want to check out the menu).. I love when places give you post cards with the check, I use them as book marks and it makes me smile when I remember my experience there.  Thank you Abbey for taking us there!
One of the best things about being away from my littles, is getting pictures of them from whoever is spending time with them.  I got this from my mom while we were at breakfast at a place called, "Dixie Quicks".  It made me smile.
Jacob and I are addicted to watching Diners Drive-ins and Dives, so when I walked in and saw that the place had been on the show and Guy Fieri had been there, I was sold!  Sent this pic to Jacob and was so excited to eat!  I would love to travel around the US and eat at every place on his list!
We had such a wonderful waitress, which made our experience that much better.. you can't beat a great waitress with great service!
This is my awesome mixed berry french toast- I mean, check the thickness on that thing!
This was Abbey's, I think she got it because it was called "Sexual Chocolate" ;).. which means, bananas, chocolate, nuts and whip.
Ok, my omelet was great, I strayed away from my typical veggie omelet and got this apple and brie one {when in Rome moment}, it was so good!  Such an odd combo to me, but good!
We hit up some stores after brunch once our wonderful friend Runge arrived.. I saw this little saying on a plate and just love it.  Good motto!
Besties!  After a delicious Mexican lunch.. I told you I was focused on food!
And toes!  That was wonderful!  It had been so long since I had had my toes done, especially with great friends.
And dinner at a delicious pizza place right by Abbeys.. our last supper.
My mom sent me this pic of the girls, sitting by the fire and reading books- love!
I had such a great time with my girlfriends and it's always nice to get away, but I was so happy to be back with my little goof balls!  Of course we hit up Trader Joe's before we went home.. and yes, the girls are squeezed into the small/kid shopping cart!
Just cruising with their sunnies on for our drive home.
Lillian was so excited to be home, she didn't know what to play with, she just grabbed as much stuff as she could carry!
This picture is somewhat out of order but my mom sent it to me and I just love it, so I thought I would add it on here..
same with this one..

:: Isabelle's Day of Celebration at school ::

Just showing how big Lillian is now, she can stand on the stool and turn on the sink- so happy about that ;).  Sporting one of mommy's head bands..
Izzy wanted to take these Olaf snacks to her school for her birthday celebration.. they were pretty cute and super easy: 3 big mallows, 2 little mallows, 2 pretzel sticks, 3 mini m&m's + 1 candy corn nose..
Someone got caught sneaking the mallows!
And then this happened..
I was dying, she was checking herself out in the dishwasher..
So funny!
Ready!
Isabelle's day of celebration is neat because they get the sun and line up all the months and then hold the earth and walk around as many years as they are.. everything is a learning experience!  We told her class little fun facts about her at each stage of life.
The little sheet I filled out with her fun facts.
Singing 'Happy Birthday'!
All the littles enjoyed their snacks.. it was funny how many actually tried to build the snowman and didn't just eat it right away.
Izzy was not one of those that really tried to make one.. she was more about, 'get in my mouth'.
Lillian had fun playing with all the kids after the celebration... she wants to be big.
