We had such an early flight Thursday morning and I was so nervous about waking Isabelle up a couple hours before she usually does and it turned out just fine. I left her in her jams and I think it helped because she rested the whole first flight.. never went back to sleep which I was shocked about.
She did really well, so glad we sat by the window {it was a toss-up because I wanted the aisle so I could have easy access to the ladies room}.
We landed in St. Louis but didn't get off the plane and all Isabelle kept saying was, "come on mom, let's go", so we moved seats just so she could do some walking and this super nice lady sat next to us and let Isabelle read/play with a new book she was taking to her grandson... it's so refreshing when you run into nice, helpful, laid back people {especially on a plane}!
Disclaimer: I cut the back of Isabelle's hair when we got home so she doesn't look all 80's rock anymore. This angle is killer!
Thank you Wally and Mary Ann for the new sunnies! It was so perfect because we forgot to bring a pair and Iz loves them!
We arrived!
The weather was beautiful so we took a walk to help Iz get some energy out before her nap.. look at that sass!
and that swagger!
"Run mom!"
Iz checked out Wally and Mary Ann's backyard.. just lounging {with Wally + Chloe}.
We got to go have dinner with my gram and see her new digs and Iz was a hit! This lady loved playing with her, they were throwing the napkin back and forth and getting such a kick out of it.
my boogie..
Yay for orange sherbet! I got one hoping to share with her and she ate the whole thing...
Gram got her tub of toys out for Iz and she was so excited to see a baby in it.
*Friday*
playing with Wally's shoes..
It was such a rainy cold day so it was nice to go to cousin Lindsay's house for dinner with all the fam. Isabelle loved playing with Rio and all his toys!
Iz with cousin Carrie peaking down..
Uncle John {he did make sure that Iz learned his name by the end of the night and she did!}, cousin Casey and bf.
Iz and Rio were so cute eating dinner at their own little table in the corner {just noticed her feet are on the table!}.
My little artist.
Thank you Lindsay, John, Roman + Rio for having us all over for dinner!!
*Saturday*
I love these of Iz in her skeleton jams pulling the toys she borrowed from Rio :).

Eating some yummy fruit for breakfast.
We had a fun morning with cousin Lindsay and Rio, got some hot totties {not really, just a latte}, some exercise at the park and watched the littles play on a couple playgrounds {made Iz's day!}.
Iz just peaking at the water... funny thing about this, actually not funny, but when she got down I noticed that the whole back of her pants were wet, like she wasn't even wearing a diaper, it was the craziest thing and I felt so bad for her because it was so cold out. Luckily Lindsay's house was close by and we could borrow some of Rio's pants to wear to lunch.
*Sunday*
We met gram, Lindsay +fam at church and Iz wanted 'two ponies'.
love this face.
Someone's on the phone for Wally...
Izzy girl with John at church.
Lunch at Panera with the fam.. Aunt Sher, Linds, Rio.
Love my gram!
We had a delicious dinner at Sherry and John's.. Izzy girl enjoyed the legos..
"sorry charlie"...
We had a morning flight Monday morning, but not near as early, so it was much better. We did have to change planes in St. Louis, but Isabelle did so good.. I'm so lucky to have such a sweet little girl!
I couldn't resist adding both versions of the pic...
We had such a great time visiting our family in Kentucky, it was so good to see everyone since we won't be there for Christmas and for Isabelle to meet everyone {when she's old enough to remember} . Thank you so much Wally and Mary Ann for your hospitality and taking us in for a few days!
