:: december = merry christmas ::

December seems so long ago so I'm just going to go through the pics as quickly as I can, because there a quite a few!  I'm just not good at editing out pics, although, I didn't add a lot of them {promise}.
I had so much fun decorating the tree with Isabelle this year because it made me think of myself when I was little and how much I loved opening the ornaments and finding places to put them on the tree.
This was Iz's section, if you cant tell.. that was 'the mommy owl, the daddy owl, and baby owl.' :)
hard at work...
I snuck in on Lillian and thought it was so cute how she had wrapped her jams around her...
Just silly girls.. Lillian loves her sister!
This was the girls reading at Lillian's 9 month check up {she was closer to 10 months at that point, but that's ok}, it was the sweetest thing to watch.
Her stats were:
height: 29.5" 94%
weight: 21lb 12oz 87%
head circumference: 44.5cm 59%
happy girl!
Ok, this was funny.. Isabelle did not want to sit on Santa's lap so I was about to just let Lillian sit with him when Santa said, "come on mom, you sit on my lap, then you can hold her", I was like, what? me?!.. anyway, this was our Santa picture for the year!  Lillian could not get over his beard!
Standing up and jamming!
Cheering for the Jayhawks!
Lil loved the lights..
I couldn't resist capturing Iz's outfit that day.. told me she was going to work out like mom.
She was so confused by the head band!  Sporting the little sweater Sue Sue made for Isabelle...
Love peaking in the play room and seeing things like this..
the girls..
Lilly girl loving pushing the stroller.
Hey girl!
another fabulous outfit put together by Isabelle, polka dot pants, stripe shirt and flower dress- perfect.
Sue Sue making cookies with Iz!
Happiest girl in the tub!
These pictures pretty much explain Lillian at 10 months, silly, happy, not going to sit still!  I could not get a good picture of her in the elephant chair with her sign!
~one of my favorite things: gets so excited to see me when I walk into the gym daycare to pick her up, she claps, waves and crawls over to me as fast as she can.. I absolutely LOVE it, puts a huge smile on my face!
~pointing at things, imitating sounds, like when I blew my nose, she tried to make the same sound.. it was pretty funny!  She squeals after Iz does or laughs if she laughs, all fun things.
~her other eye tooth came in, 4 on top, 2 on bottom
~such a chatty girl, gets so excited to see Iz and loves taking baths with her.
~size 4 diapers
~mostly 12 month clothing
milk coma faces are the best!
escaping baby!
looking big..
so happy she can get the door open!
peppermint puppy chow was a new addition to our Christmas sweets {who knew there are peppermint Hershey kisses?!}..
started getting into things!
I just heard Iz singing so I had to capture some of it!
Big girl in a little snow suit!!
making cookies at a Newcomer's coffee/play group.. Isabelle loves the frosting!
Yep, caught her just eating out of the container with the knife!
We got to go to a dance camp- Iz had a blast and felt so special wearing a leotard and tights!
look at that happy little!
and another awesome outfit!
I did some embroidery for people that were Christmas gifts so thought I would share..
We got SO much snow!
We woke up to a snow day and wanted pancakes, but had no eggs and I wasn't about to leave the house... so I remembered you could use chia seeds as an egg substitute and that's what I did! It worked!
For 1 egg... 1 T of ground chia seeds (measured after grinding) with 3T of water, stir well and let sit in the fridge for 15 minutes.
The finished product!  They were tasty! And vegan if that's important to you :).
One of my favorite things.. when Lilly girl falls asleep on my.. look at that face, those lips.
Our little Lulu..
The snow was so deep Iz could barely walk in it- she loved it!
Iz's selfie!
Izzy girl painting ornaments for Christmas...
I made a frittata with spinach and squash for Christmas eve dinner and just thought it looked pretty.. tasted good too!
~ Christmas morning ~
We flew to Kentucky early morning after Christmas and Izzy girl was all set up!
love Lilly girl with daddy..
Lillian loves apples just like her sis and mamma.
We drove to Lexington for a day to have lunch with the Porter's, it was a nice visit.. here is Lillian with cousin Jacquelyn and Aunt Diana.
We had a nice walk across a big bridge for Sue Sue's birthday {sounds crazy, but that's what she wanted to do!}.
Isabelle running across!
Ok, so have to give you the back ground for this.. we were watching Shark Tank at Wally and Mary Ann's and these guys came on and were talking about a place called 'Tom and Chee' that made all sorts of grilled cheeses, even on a glazed donut!  Long story short, they happen to have one in Louisville, close to where Sherry and John live.. SO, we had to go!  I was able to get a veggie grilled chee sandwich.. pretty sure it was called the 'hippie'!  It was good and worth checking out, but I don't know that I would say it was amazing or anything!
the top one is the glazed donut and the bottom two are desserts..
also on glazed donuts! strawberry shortcake + s'more
Lilly girl was so tired after our outings!
"happy birthday to you!"
The tradition of bowling.. how happy was Iz to bowl??!!
I got some great videos- she had a blast!
So much fun...
The girls playing at my gram's :)
Oh man, we had the worst experience flying home.. literally sat on the plane for 2.45 hours, it was terrible!  This lightened the mood for a few minutes.. absolutely love this!
Finally got both of them to sleep.. then my bum fell asleep because I couldn't move- awesome.
Lilly girl checking out her new chair.. with her dogs.. and her belly hangin' out ;).
That's all folks!
