The World of Concrete Convention is in Vegas every year (I know, exciting) which Jacob/Pavers have always gone to and this is the first year I got to join. We left Tuesday afternoon (which turned into night due to flight change.. grr) and this is Isabelle before I took her to day care. I did not want to drop her off, but I couldn't get any packing (or anything) done with her, so I had to take her :(. I had a really hard time leaving her - for some reason I thought it would get easier, but I feel like it has gotten harder now that she is chatty/talking, active and so much fun.

We arrived in Vegas just in time for dinner, which we ate/stuffed ourselves at Mesa Grill in Ceasars and it was delicious.. love Bobby Flay!
Happy Year of the Dragon! The Bellagio flower garden was pretty amazing..
The Bellagio at night with the fountains in full force. Our room faced the fountains so it was really fun to see them go off at night from our window.
We went to Margaritaville for a fun little party hosted by Uncle Tobe's company, it was a pretty good time!

Yes, this is my husband in that guy with the mustache's hat... no big deal. Actually kind of interesting, the guy was from Istanbul and not as mean as he looks.. he really wasn't mad that Jacob borrowed his hat from him.
At Ceasars.
We ate lunch in the Cosmopolitan at an Asian + Mexican infused place - at first i thought it was a great idea, but then the food just tasted a little different (even for me), so it turned into a big joke the rest of the trip... we were laughing so hard at Jeff and his little 'weird' tacos, so I had to get a picture of him picking it up... and you can see my little noodle dish. The chips and queso were really good, but probably wouldn't recommend the place.
The Cosmo is pretty amazing inside, full of all these crystals, like a huge chandelier all down the middle.
Fountain in front of Aria, it's kind of hard to tell, but it was changing colors every time the water would shoot out - pretty cool.
The John Philippe Patisserie in Aria is amazing, these are just some of the amazing sweets and pastries they had - they are just too pretty to eat. I did have the red velvet cupcake (the one with the bright orange dome top) and it was pretty delicious - highly recommend checking it out if you are ever in Vegas.
This whole dragon display was made out of chocolate, fondant and sugar, pretty amazing, I couldn't stop staring at it... I can't imagine how many pounds of chocolate that is.
We ate breakfast in the Venetian Friday morning and it was such a pleasant surprise that they had red velvet pancakes... ah-mazing! I really need to make these!
The dragon at the Wynn was really neat... you can kind of see Betsy and Jacob in there. Oh and we saw Nikki Hilton shopping when we were there. And how did I forget to tell you that Jacob and I saw Floyd Mayweather the first night we were there in Chanel at the Bellagio - he is really pretty for a boxer, if that makes any sense. Jacob was really star struck!
If you are wondering, we did all make it to the convention for a few hours and I actually learned a lot about concrete - who knew there were so many different things that are related to concrete.
We got in late Friday night so we didn't get to see Isabelle until Saturday morning and I just couldn't wait to get her from Gigi's. I was so excited to see her and she just had the biggest grin, walked to me so fast and gave me the biggest squeeze, it was the best thing ever.
She learned how to say 'cookie' while at Gigi's.
We came home to a full-on walker! She pretty much walks every where now with the occasional tumble and then she might crawl a few and stand back up. It was kind of funny because she was walking with her arms out in front of her like Frankenstein so Gigi nicknamed her 'Frankie'... these are a few shots of the arms (and Harper trying to help her) at Cooper's basketball game...
She would just take off on to the court, all she wanted to do was walk everywhere.

This is Isabelle on our way to the game, she shakin' it and singing to Adele - I wish I would have been recording more at the beginning because she was really getting into it!
I am so glad to be home with Isabelle again, I missed her SO much!! Thank you Gigi for taking care of our little one!
