We started our Saturday morning with the Farmer's Market, one of my favorite things... my mom came with us because she had been wanting to go to the Lawrence market so it was nice to have her along. We got some good stuff.. cinnamon bread (so good), beauteous flowers and some veggies.
Our friends Paul and Amy came in town with their little one, Marissa and it was so fun to see them and hang out.. especially to watch Isabelle and Marissa... she is a little over 1 yr. old and walking, so cute.
Marissa really liked taking Iz's toys from her, Iz just kept staring at her and trying to reach for her toys and Marissa was like, 'no, I don't think so'.. this pic just made me laugh because it's like they are talking to each other about it.
We went to lunch at Genovese and it was delicious.. Iz was so tired, passed out while she was eating.. the perfect line for this pic... 'i drink 'till i pass out'.
It didn't last long, she was bright eyed and ready to hang again after she ate. Paul and Amy had a handy little rubber placemat that suctioned to the table with a little lip that caught the food so it didn't fall on the floor... what a novel idea! Need to get one.
It was so hot walking on Mass. so we stopped in '3 Spoons' to get some frozen yogurt and Jacob's dish just cracked me up, I think he got every topping.. yes, those are fruity pebbles on there. Iz did get her first taste of sorbet and she loved it, of course.

Iz is such a big girl now, we decided it was probably time to move her to the high chair.. she loved it.
I have been making smoothies of just fruit and giving them to Iz for breakfast, she loves them... we tried some strawberries (with nanners and blueberries) for the first time and she seemed to like them... I was really nervous to try them because they say a lot of babies are allergic to them, luckily, she is not! I have been making her blueberries with nanners a lot and that is one of her favs.
Isabelle and I got to run both mornings and it was actually kind of cool this morning, so it was nice. She decided to bring one of her bath toys on this jog!
The fam was in town so it was nice to see them and have brunch.. Harper wanted to read a book to Isabelle, so that's what is happening here.. too cute.

this was too cute, Harper wanted to hold Isabelle, so she was sitting on her lap and started falling off to the side.. lucky for Iz, Papa was there to catch her and Lucy thought she was going to help.
Papa told the grandkids the cutest story about some frogs and they each happened to be a frog in the story... Lucy was also interested in the story.
Such a great weekend with friends and family... it was our last weekend home for the next 3 weeks, so it was nice to just lay low at home.
