One of Isabelle's new favorite things is pushing her babies in this little stroller, it's technically an umbrella stroller for her, but she loves that she can reach the handles.

Sue Sue has Iz smell everything at her house, so she was walking up to all my tomato plants and smelling them- I just thought it was so cute because they aren't flowers and don't really smell that great, but then she went by and gave them all a kiss :).

One of her new things is 'bye mom', so this is her telling me 'bye'... I always ask where she's going and she usually doesn't have an answer.

It was so nice to have some cool weather when we got home, made playing outside much more enjoyable.

:: KU Alumni Party ::

We got back in town Friday and had kind of a crazy weekend with the KU Alumni party out at the farm, with guest, Head Coach Bill Self!  Kind of crazy that he came to Salina and was at the farm!

We had to get a family photo in front of the massive Jayhawk.

Iz looked so cute running around, checking out all the stuff for the party, I just loved her in these pics.

 We took Isabelle early so she could see the huge horses that were pulling guests, she was a little shy at first, but then she got really excited about them.

 They took us for a ride and Iz watched the horses the whole time.

Hurray for home!!

We got Isabelle the most adorable little flamingo {mango} purse {I think I've told you about Iz's love for flamingos...? Kind of random, but there is a house a street over with two in their yard that we have to drive/walk by often so she can see them}, I knew that's what we should take back for her the minute we saw it.  You should have seen her face when we gave it to her, it was the best!  She was so cute when we both walked in the room when she woke up, she ran to the side of her pack-n-play and reached up for me with this face of worry almost and then gave me the biggest squeeze of a hug forever- it was the best feeling!

She didn't take it off of her arm the whole day, we stopped at TJ's, she took it inside and showed it off to several people and then held it the whole way home in the car.. that made us happy!

It's so fun to see these because I'm like, 'hey, that's me!'... but I don't ever park in them because I guess I feel guilty that I may have just ran that morning and can walk perfectly fine and there might be someone in greater need of the closer spot?  I don't know, does that make sense?

Izzy girl also got an Elmo purse with her name on the back that Gigi, Emme and Harper picked out for her and she was super excited to see too!  She was trying to put her mango purse inside her Elmo purse... she's too funny.

I got the special little treat of a latte on our way out of town and it's just such a fun surprise when they hand them to you and they look so pretty... makes you not want to swirl in your cinnamon + nutmeg.

It was so good to get home with our little one and pups, everyone was so happy to be there!

:: Bahamas ::

We got to Atlantis in time for lunch and this was our beautiful view from our room for the first few days.

That is what we call 'the secret pool'- we went
to it almost every day.

We had kind of an over cast/rainy day the first day the whole fam was together, so we all went to one room to figure out what we were going to do.. Papa had the list of activities going on around Atlantis and was reading them off to us, I just thought Betsy and Gigi's faces were funny as we were all semi-listening ;).

Just one last shot before we checked out of our room to move over to the condos.

This is the "fancy" adult pool that you can only go to if you are staying at the Cove or the Reef, so Jacob and I had to check it out and take advantage of our 'Cove' bracelets before we moved over to the condo.

We had a little tour of the island from our wonderful driver, Joe.  We stopped at a fort called 'Fort Hood' and there is a very steep staircase called 'The Queen's Staircase' which is 65 steps {# of years of Queen Victoria's reign}.. it was pretty cool because it was carved out of solid limestone by slaves in the late 18th century.  You could see lines in the stone from chisels/axes, pretty crazy!  I recommend the stop if you are ever in Nassau.

We visited a cigar factory that is connected to the Graycliff  hotel/restaurant which is super old {built in 1740 by a famous pirate} and many celebrities have stayed and eaten there... just some little tid bits for you ;).

It was fun to see and learn about other areas of the island that we have visited so often and never really ventured off Paradise Island or the downtown shopping area.

We had dinner at Ocean Club, one of Jacob and I's favorite... such a beautiful place!

 I can't believe I forgot to add these pics, they were on our other camera and Jacob had to remind me that I missed the gold medals!  Anyway, we were walking through the casino shops and there were a ton of people and cameras flashing and we couldn't figure out what was going on, until we saw the gold medals around the 4 guys... the Bahamian relay team that beat us for gold was at Atlantis, just walking through to eat dinner, it was like they were celebrities!  It took us awhile to get in and get out picture taken, but we finally pushed through, it was pretty cool to see the medal up close, it's heavy!

We had a nice relaxing trip- I read 3 books which is amazing, but I couldn't wait to get home and see our little!  Isabelle is going to love it next year, I can't wait to see her run in the ocean, see the dolphins, play in all the kid pools, she is just not even going to know what to do with herself.

Thank you so much mom for taking care of our precious little girl and wonderful four-legged friends!  We obviously don't know what we would do without you!  And thank you to mom's/family friend, Laura {Iz called her "Ya, Ya"} for taking care of our sweet little while Sue Sue had to work some of the days, we really appreciated all her help!  Iz had a blast with her!  Thank goodness for wonderful family and friends!!
