Happy 4th Birthday to Isabelle!!

The girls wanted to do some yoga with me before we headed to the park in Lindsborg for Isabelle's birthday with her friends.
Lilly girl had just as much fun!
We had such a nice morning at the coffee shop and the park, the weather was perfect and the littles had a blast.
Here is Lillian, not wanting to nap.. holding up her babies, saying please mommy!
Isabelle's birthday donut!
Pink frosting with sprinkles :)
Lillian wanted to wear her Olaf hat to the gym!
It was pretty perfect that Elsa just happened to be at the Toy Store on Isabelle's birthday.. she was excited to see her!
A little birthday gift early.. super fun circus train set.
Isabelle helped to pick out what her cake would look like and we got it the day before.. she was so excited about it, turned out great!
Daddy found these great Frozen balloons.. they were huge!
She had fun opening her gifts... thank you family for helping us celebrate our little turning 4!
Really funny Elsa hat from Sue Sue, it was a hit!  Lillian was really into all of Isabelle's gifts!
Izzy's special gift from mommy and daddy.. the American Girl doll, Isabelle!  She was the doll of the year, so we couldn't resist getting it for her.
Love these pics of Lilly girl, Sue Sue and the dogs...
Izzy opened her gift from gram and she was so excited about the music jewelry box.. it's so sweet.
And this was our Sunday.. we made the mistake of having our family pictures at the end of a crazy busy weekend so Isabelle and Lillian weren't feeling it and were both kind of a mess.. this totally explained it- I walked in to get Lillian at 6:40 to put her to bed and Isabelle was passed out, boots and all (I took them off before the pic)!  Poor girl was exhausted!  Such a fun weekend of friends and family to celebrate Isabelle turning 4!!  I can't believe our little girl is 4!
Just some quick stats so I don't forget:
~wearing size 4T, some 5T, all 3T things she tries to wear are pretty short
~size 8 or 9 shoes
~loves to play with babies, barbies, dolls, color, draw, paint, create, play make believe, hang with her sister, read, play restaurant, play with friends + family
~she's into: Frozen, Sophia the First, Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Strawberry Shortcake, Barbies, Princesses, Peppa Pig, Dora, I know there is more so I will have to add them as I think of them.

Fun in Fall + Lillian updates {almost 21 months old}!

These pictures are a little crazy, it's November and we are wearing shorts and no coats!  I wish you could see the girls' faces better here because they have the biggest smiles/laughs on!  So much fun swinging with daddy.
 Happy little Lill.
I was hosting a Stella & Dot show (I just started as a hostess and it's so much fun!  Let me know if you ever need anything, the Holiday stuff is so cute! www.stelladot.com/leahwilson) and got this from Jacob.. just made me smile!
Lilly girl is so much like her big sister, it's kind of crazy.. already wearing the princess heals around the house.. wants a 'pony' in her hair after I put one in mine and Isabelle's... says so many words now, it's just amazing.. you can totally have a conversation with her and know what she's talking about, which is so much fun, but also sad because she is growing up and getting big.  She likes to put her shoes on by herself and is successful at it {hint: no need for mom= :( }..
The girls just love Lucy and she loves them right back!  Lillian has been calling her Lulu and likes to give her big hugs.
She also has been loving clips in her hair.. she says, "kip" and point to her head then gets excited and says, "pitty" and "cute".. notice the princess shoes.. this girl actually loves shoes, now that she can put them on, I will find her in a pile of shoes just trying them all on.. she loves boots! And, she loves babies, taking their clothes off, changing the diaper, putting new clothes on- just like Izzy!
Another thing in common with Iz- sunnies!  She loves to put them on!
I looked over and couldn't stop laughing.. such a goof ball!
Isabelle wanted to show that she is also a goof ball.
What Lillian is wearing these days...
size 4 diaper, mostly 24 month clothing, some 2T, size 5 shoes (we have been stuck at 5 for so long, tiny feet!)
Foods/drinks...
not a huge fan of cow milk, drinks water and watered down orange juice.. or smoothies, eats cheese, hot dogs (eek, I know, but we have found some really good vegan ones and she loves them just the same and if they are meat, they are 100% meat.. I don't know why I felt the need for that disclaimer ;)), applesauce is a staple in our house and so are Trader Joes' fruit bars, both girls eat those almost every day, she likes mac & cheese, but not grilled cheese (what?! I know, right?!), loves peanut butter, but not on bread, just on a spoon straight from the jar.  Lill will eat almost anything I eat, which is great, she loves my plain Greek yogurt with fruit and granola in the morning or oatmeal, which I could never get Iz to eat..
Bedtime...
goes to bed about 7 and sleeps until about 7.. takes a 2 or 3 hour nap, although some days lately, she just plays in her bed for hours and then starts calling for mommy, likes she's done or something.. at least she is still 'resting' I guess.
Lillian is such a love bug and little snuggler, she is just a sweet little girl.  She is so goofy and has a great sense of humor like her sister and loves to play and have fun.  So many people say how different the siblings are from each other, but it's crazy how similar the girls are.. I thought Lillian might be quieter since Isabelle is so vocal, but no, she is just as chatty and social.  We love our little Lillian and can't believe she is going to be 2 in a few months!

Happy Halloween!!

Izzy got to wear her costume to dance the week of Halloween and she was so excited.. especially that she was Elsa from Frozen (big surprise, so original, I know)!  Her friend Jillian in the pink bandana behind her was 'Izzy' from Jake and the Pirates so they thought that was pretty cool too.
Sisters!! Elsa and Olaf!  At our Newcomers Halloween party.
Lillian was such a cheese ball sitting on the stage.. other people would try to sit there to get their picture taken and she just kept wanting to sit on that step.. she was cracking me up.
Our family pic.. too bad Lillian can't really see.
Day of Halloween, girls in their festive shirts.. I meant to take another one with a nice background and lighting and of course that didn't happen, so here it is.  I just realized those shirts might look familiar from last year :/.
Ready to go trick-or-treating!  We had the hardest time get a picture of both of them looking at the camera with a normal face.. let the attempts begin..
over here Lillian!
And this is it, Iz has a goofy smile and Lillian is like, what are you looking at?!
Couldn't resist the side profile of Lillian in her costume.
Getting her fist candy bar... she didn't eat any of it, but man, she hoarded her stash!  She wanted to hold all of it in her hands and not let go.. she was such a trooper, walked most of the way on her own and kept her hat on the whole time.  It was pretty cold, so that might have helped with the hat.
We had so many kids at our house, it was easier to just sit on the front porch because it was non-stop.  The girls had so much fun handing out candy with Sue Sue.
Isabelle and her bestie Jillian!  She just looks so grown up, I can't get over it.. this turning 4 thing is really affecting me!
We had a great Halloween, both girls had a blast and were up late.  Can't believe it's almost Isabelle's birthday!!
