She was way too ambitious at the beginning of our walk with both dogs.. right after this {see Lucy looking at something} Lucy took off and there went Iz, some scuffed knees!  Now she just lets go of the leash and we are left to chase after it.. 

Lilly girl started saying words or sounds that we make into words.  I tried to get her saying 'dadada'.. she caught sight of the camera looking at her and has to think about it for a minute.. pretty cute if you ask me

Let's make pizza!!

This was us on the way to the gym.. it was funny to look back and see three car seats, even though one was for Iz's baby.. she insisted on her being strapped into the seat!

One of our favorite things to make: pizza!  Isabelle had so much fun rolling out the dough and putting her toppings on.

She just kept patting the dough and making it too thin, we had to re-roll it a few times.

I made this delicious pasta from Gwenyth Paltrow's cookbook and of course I forgot to write it down before I returned the book to the library so I will have to get it back to post.. in the meantime, it's pretty much cooked tomatoes and kale with pasta.. nice and simple.

Iz was with her cousins and Emme posted this picture on her Instagram.. it just made me smile.. look at those cheeses!!

:: KC trip ::

We went to KC for the weekend to celebrate one of my BF's birthday's and her + family's move to Portugal.. I turned around and saw Iz wearing head phones {with nothing on} and reading her books.. made me smile,

totally 'sport'n' the phones here- 'round the neck!

We had a fun Sunday with Sue Sue, started out with church, then went to Legends for lunch and to just hang out with the little ones.. Isabelle got to do one of her favorite things- play in a fountain!

Lillian enjoyed our lunch date.

Lillian met cousin Abby on our way back to Salina!  It was kind of a joke trying to get all the littles to look at the camera.. this was my best one!

Bath time!  Shirt on your head!  Isabelle just thought it was so funny!

 Iz and I made a delicious smoothie and I just thought it was such a pretty rainbow of fruits and veggies that I had to take a pic.. just strawberries, blueberries, mangos + pineapples, spinach.. then ground flax and JP+ vanilla protein powder with about 16oz water {that's so Iz can have some, probably about 12oz for one big glass}.

My little helper!  She loves to "make a juice" with me and usually just eats the frozen mango and pineapples, then pushes the button on the blender.

 I looked at the monitor and saw this cute nakey little playing with her feet.

 I made some delicious tomatoes from the ones in our garden.. just thought they were pretty!

Lillian had just been teething like crazy.. had to capture that face!

 She was so ready and I just couldn't stop taking pictures of her!

 Ok, had to take a picture of these.. check these cinnamon rolls out!  They are seriously the best cinnamon rolls ever, from a local joint.. they are special order so we asked for 4, but when we went to pick them up she had this whole pan and was trying to get us to take the whole thing.. I didn't think we could do it, but Jacob had faith, so I said OK!  Don't worry, we gave some away and froze some, but we definitely ate our fair share of rolls for a week!

We took a walk after naps and I looked down at Lillian holding Isabelle's baby's hand, thought it was sweet {not that she knew what she was doing}.
