Baby Shower for Kenzie.

We had two showers this past weekend, so it was a fun filled day of friends.. and food of course.

Izzy girl wore another one of my mom's friend's dresses and it was so cute on her.. the dress is hand made, they just don't make clothes like that anymore.

We had some delicious cookies and I made cake balls and chocolates... all tasty.

I got to make another diaper cake... they make such great center pieces at showers.

Isabelle was such a great guest, she just hung out and was so happy the whole time.. thank you Iz.

Isabelle + Greyson

The Wasinger's came to visit and stay with us Friday night and it was so fun to get Isabelle and Greyson together.  Let me just give you a little commentary of what's going on here.. Greyson has packets of chewables (I started selling Juice Plus+ (great stuff!), will tell you more about it later) and they make a really cool sound, so Iz thought she needed them (even though she has 5 toys in front of her)...

 She is saying, come on G, just give them to me.. he is way too into them to give them up, so Iz reaches in for the steal.. it was a success.. so we got smart and separated them so they could each have one..

And I think Greyson was trying to show Iz that his was still better, extreme close up.. then they are like, lets just be even, high five it out...

or hold hands (I kind of love this picture)... Greyson even kissed Iz on the cheek, at least that's what we called it ;)

Isabelle was taking her bubble bath and Greyson decided that he wanted to join... I'm so glad he did because they were so cute in the tub together.

We kept trying to get them both to look at the camera and this is all we got, like 5 times.

They layed by each other while we got them ready for bed and Greyson was funny because he just wanted to play with the lotion bottles

Yay, they are both looking at the camera!  It was so fun to have Isabelle and Greyson hang out and to watch them interact with each other... it's like they were both trying to figure each other out and were so intrigued by one another, I'm so glad they had some bonding time... Runge and I think they love each other :).  Thank you Wasinger's for a fun relaxing night and thank you Runge for helping me dip the cake balls!

 Isabelle now fits into it!  Jacob and I bought this for her probably about a year ago now, and I just love it on her.... love the owl print.. duh.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's day dear, thank you for all that you do for Isabelle and I, we don't know what we would do without you...  you are wonderful.  We love you!

Iz and I woke up early (I don't know why I say that, we are up early every morning) and made dad breakfast for Father's Day... he loves cinnamon rolls and anything that immulates them so we made monkey bread and Iz was such a great help (hand in flour and spatula in mouth).

It was super hot when I flipped it over onto the plate, so you will have to excuse the mess and I cooked them in a dark pan (don't recommend the dark pans... ever) so a few of them got a little 'dark', I prefer to say that over burnt ;).  And, I am sad to admit that I made them from a package deal, so I don't have a recipe to share... however, I do have a delicious recipe for Bubble Rolls (same thing, but even better) that I got from a friend at work if you ever need one... I will have to make them so I can post it :).

                                     

Thank you dad for entertaining Isabelle while I got her bottle ready!  She loves to 'fly' around the room, especially while dad makes ridiculous noises and faces.  Sad to say we are on our last couple bags of bmilk (I am still nursing at night and in the morning)... will have to start formula this week.

 We went for a walk/run after breakfast and it was pretty hot... I had to share these pics of Iz with her Sophie and doing her leg stretches.. she still loves those feet!

We went to the pool and Iz had a great time again... it was a little hot for her so we didn't stay too long.

I had to share these pictures of Jacob with his dad and me (I didn't have much hair at about 2, so I hope Iz doesn't have to wait that long!) with mine to celebrate our dads, thank you for all that you do and have done for us.  Dad, I miss you like crazy and would give anything to have you here so you could meet and know our precious Isabelle.

*sorry to post this a week late.. I am trying so hard to keep up with the posts and I am almost there, but I have to be honest, it's hard... there is not enough time in the day.

Beautiful day for a walk.

Iz and I got up Saturday morning and went for a walk after breakfast while dad was still sleeping and before it got too hot... it was a beautiful day and she passed out pretty quick.

I had to take this pic looking down on her because she always looks so content... and I love how she is holding her blabla's hand, she loves her monkey!  I highly recommend the blabla rattles (and other adorable things they have), Iz chews on the arms and legs all the time and it has been a lifesaver so many times.

Passed out again after a trip downtown... just thought it was too cute, holding blabla's arm in one hand and her Sophie in the other.

**Random tip of the day: Buy overnight diapers!  After changing Iz's bed 4 times in one week from her leaking through her pants, I decided it was time to try the overnight diapers and they were a success!  She hasn't leaked yet and I think it helps her sleep longer and not get so uncomfortable/mad and want out of her crib as quick.

Our daycare was on vacation Wed, Thurs, Friday of this week, so Jacob had Iz on Wednesday and my mom watched her on Thursday and brought her in to work for lunch, it was the best thing ever!  It was so nice to be able to see Isabelle in the middle of the day for a little bit, such a refresher... now if that could just happen every day, I would be good!

My mom put Iz in one of the dresses that her friend Kim gave us that she wore when she was little and it just looked so cute on her.  I thought this picture was kind of funny, like she was posing or trying to show off her dress. 

We kept trying to get a good picture of Iz in the dress so we could show Kim and it was such a challenge, we probably took 20, she would turn her head or something every time the pic would take (as you can see, I just didn't move)... so these are the best ones we got.  Yes, that is my crazy office (square) in the background.

One of our last attempts... Iz with gram, thank you again for watching her and bringing her into work!  She was such a great distraction!
