33 Weeks and boots with the fur!!

Well, at least I know I can still wear some heels!  No, I do not own these, just thought it would be fun to put them on at work today and pretend I was on the runway!
I felt Matilda hiccuping today!  I don't know if it's the first time she's done it, but it's the first time I noticed and realized what it was... it almost felt like a strong heart beat because it was just a constant bump and you could see it every time, pretty crazy!  I also wore my one and only maternity shirt today for the first time, I will say, there is more 'give' in the tummy!  Guess there is a reason for maternity clothes ;).
Okay, had to include this... love the crumb/drip catcher!  It's so nice to get up from my desk at work and just have spots all over my belly (it's water!), especially when they land on my belly button... the pleasures of having a large belly!

French Bulldog teaches baby to crawl

Cousin Adam posted this on my FB page and I couldn't resist putting it on here, it's too cute!  We are hoping Lucy can teach Matilda how to crawl too... she does do that crawl on the carpet!

We have shingles!!

They have started putting shingles up on the outside of the addition, it's starting to look more like our house!

Tea Time & Showered with Love!!

My wonderful friends, mom and Diane threw me a fabulous tea party shower last Sunday (10/12).  There were so many delicious treats and things to eat and friends and family, I couldn't have asked for anything better!  We got so many great things for little Matilda, she has no idea how much she's loved already!  It was hard to choose which pics to share because they are so many good ones, but here are a few....
All the delicious treats (thank you mom, Kim, and friends!) and super cute diaper cake that my mom made, with additions from Kellie :).
How cute are these?!  Cake balls all the way from the 'Ta' (thanks Runge!), so clever and delicious!
My mom made these cute little owl stuffed animals that match our bedding.
Family pic!
The hostesses with the mostesses... thanks friends, you are the best!
Had to include the little tea cups, they were perfect!
We thought we would do another belly pic now that Runge is about to pop ;)!
Thanks again to everyone, we are so lucky to have such great family and friends and we couldn't do this without all of you!!

32 Weeks and house update!

The belly is getting bigger and she moves all the time now.  The Baby Center says:
Your baby is taking up more and more space in your uterus and weighs as much as a large jicama -- about 3 3/4 pounds. (Length: about 16 3/4 inches, head to heel.)
I still have acid reflux which is so enjoyable, but other than that, all is good!  We had our 4th child birth class last night and Jacob was out of town so my mom was kind enough to join me and it just so happened to be the most 'partnering' class... we were supposed to do birthing positions on the floor and I was like, no thank you!  We learned all about C sections and positions that can help you be more comfortable during labor and help the baby get positioned for delivery... there are so many!  One more class to go!

The back of our house with the new roof over the porch.
We have can lighting (top pic is the kitchen and bottom is our new bedroom)!

Doc Appt!

We had our 32 week (on Thursday) appt. today and the little one is measuring right on track!  My belly just grew 1cm, now 32 cm at 32 weeks!  Her heartbeat is 153 and the doctor felt her head at the bottom of my tum (like she's upside down), she said it just feels like an apple... crazy!  We have two more appts that are two weeks apart and then we start going every week!!  I can't believe how close we are to meeting the little lady!

Thought I would share what her bedding looks like (minus the 'Hayley R. Jacobs' on the quilt!)... it's super cute!  I will post a better picture of it once we get it all set up.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Ice Cream!!!

Could there be anything better?!  Especially since I have been loving pb&j's and ice cream, now both combined into one!  Thank you Christopher Elbow, you are a genious.... and Kellie for telling me I had to try it!
