Nails with my little..

I thought it would be a fun thing for Isabelle and I to get our toes done together before the Bahamas.. like our little date :).. she had a blast!
Isabelle walked in there like she owned the place- told the lady her name, how old she was, and what she wanted on her toes.. the nail lady was impressed how Iz just held her own!
Daddy came to help hold her hands still {yep, got suckered into nails too}.
Lilly girl came for the party... just hanging out.
Cheese!
Matching!!
It was so fun to do that with my little.. the first of many I'm sure!!

Art Day!!

Isabelle went through a faze of climbing into Lillian's bed {usually would ask me first, but got in trouble one time when I just glanced at the monitor and Isabelle was in Lillian's bed and had woken her up- one unhappy mama!} and thought it was a cute photo op..
Lillian's like, ahh, holding too tight!
Uhh, mom, help. me.
She just made me smile when I looked over and saw that bear sticking out of her car seat.
We had a super fun play date at the Art Center and Isabelle got to paint a few pictures and play with friends, she had a blast!
Iz and her friend Mazie.
Lillian was so happy {with Corrie}, I couldn't pick which picture to add, so I put them all!
Just watching her play..
"I built a tower mom!"
Lillian never wears head bands, but Iz insisted on her wearing this one because it matched the pink one she was wearing.. I don't know if she was happy about it or not, didn't last very long.
Just a pretty little dinner dish.. cannellini beans {with some garlic + parmesan}, spinach and pasta- yum.
Oh and just a sneak peak at this happy girl!
My first onesie!  Made this for a very good friend's new little one.. simple, but thought it turned out cute.

:: Family Weekend ::

Check out this beautiful sky on our way home from KC.. middle of America.
My Saturday morning looking at these faces- the best.
Isabelle using her camera skills to take a picture of her and Lillian.. could be a little more centered to get all of Lillian's face, but pretty good!
Loving on sis!
Lillian just loving right back!
"Making banana pancakes, pretend like it's the weekend now"... I always have to sing that John Mayer song when I make banana pancakes.. and it was the weekend!!
Sunday, family day at the gym.. Izzy girl looking so grown up.. :(
love this..
Iz fitting right in with her smoothie in a shaker cup.
She was way too ambitious at the beginning of our walk with both dogs.. right after this {see Lucy looking at something} Lucy took off and there went Iz, some scuffed knees!  Now she just lets go of the leash and we are left to chase after it..
Lilly girl started saying words or sounds that we make into words.  I tried to get her saying 'dadada'.. she caught sight of the camera looking at her and has to think about it for a minute.. pretty cute if you ask me

Let's make pizza!!

This was us on the way to the gym.. it was funny to look back and see three car seats, even though one was for Iz's baby.. she insisted on her being strapped into the seat!
One of our favorite things to make: pizza!  Isabelle had so much fun rolling out the dough and putting her toppings on.
She just kept patting the dough and making it too thin, we had to re-roll it a few times.
Look how pretty that is!
Daddy helping Iz roll..
You think that's enough cheese?
Fresh mozzarella is key!

I made this delicious pasta from Gwenyth Paltrow's cookbook and of course I forgot to write it down before I returned the book to the library so I will have to get it back to post.. in the meantime, it's pretty much cooked tomatoes and kale with pasta.. nice and simple.
Lilly girl, just teething, using her own fingers as a teether.
"yes mom?"
and about the same face from Iz.. she was saying, "yes mom, I need to take 3 purses to the gym".
Iz was with her cousins and Emme posted this picture on her Instagram.. it just made me smile.. look at those cheeses!!
and Lilly girl's cheese!  The best!!
Love my girls!
