I will just preface this post with, there are a lot of pictures! I just couldn't narrow it down any more. Our friends came to our house Wednesday night so we could get up early Thursday and start driving to CO! The kids were pretty funny, Isabelle had her first sleep over with Greyson sleeping in her room for the night and they were so chatty, we had to go in there a couple of times and regulate ;). We got up and left as soon as the kiddos woke up, so here we are in the 'girl' car...
Just showing off all our snacks {and Runge of course}, we were pretty stuffed in the 2 cars.. 3 car seats, 3 strollers, 3 pack n' plays, 3 sets of golf clubs + everyone's bags, but we did it!
We had our first stop a little earlier than expected because Iz had soaked her shorts :(, so here she is with no pants :)... couldn't find our bag, oh well.
Ha! Yes, we walked down the street and went to lunch in Denver with Iz just in her diaper and tee! Not going to lie, we got a lot of looks from the passer by!

Yay, they are asleep! The girls passes out about the same time, right as we were going up into the mountains.
Our first morning... we made a delicious pumpkin coffee cake that we had all pinned from pinterest, it was delicious! So good warm, right out of the oven... even heats up well!

Beaver Creek on our last day {Sunday}, it was Octoberfest so there were a lot of tents set up with all sorts of food + drinks, it was a lot of fun.
More family photos... got the Wasingers this time :).
{poor Izzy girl didn't feel very well and slept most of the time while we were there {hence the pout face}}
We got a crazy idea to drive home through the night, so this was us after we ate the lasagna we made and all the bags were packed... thought we'd get a little exercise in before we were going to sit in the car all night.
We bathed the kids, put them in their jams and loaded them in their seats, time for bed! They all did pretty well, slept until we stopped for gas and then went back to sleep fairly quickly, Isabelle just seemed so uncomfortable, it was like trying to sleep on a plane.. I felt bad for her. We got into Salina at 4 am, put Iz right to bed, then passed out ourselves. Thankfully for us, Isabelle slept until about 9:30.. I just don't know that I would do that again! We had such a wonderful time in CO with our friends, thank you so much for the refreshing + much needed vaca!
